REAL WINNERS AND LOSERS OF 2019 KWARA STATE ELECTON.

2019 kwara state general election has come and gone, the electorates decided who is next to pilot the affairs of the state for the next 4years .
2019 kwara state election opened our eyes to many things we don't believe .

I have decided to write about the real winner and losers of the just concluded kwara state election.

Here is the list of the winner

1. Alh lai Muhammad (Minister for information)

After contesting against Dr. Bukola Saraki in 2003 the minister went back to Lagos to continue his politics. Years after years Alh. lai Muhammad came back home in 2014 during the time of APC when he's in the same party with the kwara state government then. Together they campaign and win. Due to the problem Saraki had with APC then Alh lai Muhammad see it as a chance to take kwara away from him but it did not take long before DR. Bukola Saraki left APC for PDP and that's how the minister became the party leader.
2019 general brought the end to Saraki political dynasty and the crusade (Ó TÓ GÉ) was led by Alh. Lai  Muhammad . the minister took the power away from the senate President when he and his disciples was crushed by the biggest political tsunami of Nigeria

2. Arc. Lola Ashiru 

Lola Ashiru has been the only personality contesting for the post against thr ruling party since 2007. His tenacity and non giving up sense is no match to anyone else .
After so many trial Arc. Lola Ashiru triumph by winning against Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim.

3.Abdulraman Abdulrazak 

The multi millionaire contested in 2011 as a CPC flag beaerer the same party as the President Muhammadu Buhari but lost to Alh. Abdulfatai Ahmed. He came back in 2015 to contest as senator representing the kwara central but lost to Dr. Bukola Saraki . 2019 was the year for all his dream to come true when he won the election with a land slide victory over his main opponent Hon. Razak Atunwa .

4. Alh Gani saka cook 

This man is one of the top grassroot politician in kwara central of today .
Olododo came to limelight when he became the local govt chairman of Ilorin East to SSG to the state government. Olododo was one of Saraki greatest asset used in wining . Olododo and Saraki relationship started falling apart in 2011 when Olododo bids to contest for federal reps in APC but saraki denied him by giving it to Dr. Ali Ahmed to ticket and that sends Olododo to a political exile. 2019 became his year after defeating Hon. Wahab Oladimeji Issa.

5. Hakeem Lawal

What could have been a child wish if it's not to fulfill his fathers dream. Hakeem lawal is the son of the former Governor of kwara state Alh. Alabi Lawal . Hakeem Lawal bids to become the Governor of the state but wasn't given the ticket but to achieve what he father stood for he joined the hands with others to make the crusade ( Ó TÓ GÉ ) a great one. We are looking forward to see him winning an elective post soon.

6. Dr. Ibrahim Yahyah Oloriegbe

Dr. Oloriegbe was the majority leader in Kwara house of assembly from the year 1999 - 2003 but lost his bid to return back to the house. He contested for the kwara central senatorial seat in 2011 under ACN but losses to Dr. Saraki. 2019 was a good one for Dr. Oloriegbe has he dethrone The Senate president from returning back to the red chamber .

7. Akogun iyiola oyedepo , Sunday Fagbemi & Alajagunsi.

These 3men were a true definition of liberation , they are always on different radio station everyday enlighten people on what is going on in kwara . from PDP logbode to Ó TÓ GÉ. They never get tired of saying the truth about Saraki and today the kwara of their dream has been achieved .

8. Hon. Saheed popoola 

Hon saheed is currently serving as a representative at the state house where he's representing Balogun/ojomu constituency.
Hon. Saheed didn't decamp with the other 23 house of assembly members back in 2018 ,if we can recall he was the only ACN chairman back then in 2011 before Dr. Saraki decamped to APC.
Hon. Saheed as been returned back to the house and he's the favorite to be the speaker .


9. Offa people and the people of Kwara south

As the baton of leadership is about to change the offa community now has a spot at the Red chamber and will have the State house speaker automatically. As we all know the Ó TÓ GÉ crusade was led by Alh. Lai Muhammad an igbomina man and this signify kwara south as become the most powerful senatorial district in kwara state and we hope to see them developing the district to a certain level.

This list will not complete if the names of the biggest losers are not there .

1. Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki

The 8th assembly senate president was defeated by Dr. Ibrahim Yahyah Oloriegbe during the general election. Saraki didn't just lose his seat at the red chamber , all his aspirant didn't emerge the Ó TÓ GÉ Tsunami washed away the Saraki political dynasty

2. Alh. Abdulfatai Ahmed 

The outgoing Governor of the state was a big loser, Alh. Abdulfatai who as been given to senatorial ticket but was collected from him after the 2018 bye election. Alh. Abdulfatai still campaign tirelessly for all PDP aspirant but at the end his effort went in futility .

3. Hon. Razak Atunwa 

Hon. Atunwa is representing Ilorin west / ASA constituency at the green chamber and he was once the speaker of the Kwara house assembly. Hon. Atunwa contested for the Governor of the States but loses to his biggest opponent Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrasak.

4. Hon. Wahab oladimeji Issa

Hon. Wahab is one of the biggest politician kwara central has ever had with many achievement. He was relegated from politics back in 2011 when he lost to PDP candidate Dr. Ali Ahmed.
Hon. Wahab came back in 2019 but a wrong time for him, the tsunami waged him away as he losses to Alh. Saka cook Olododo

5. The people of Kwara north 

Zoning or no Zoning , since the return of democracy in 1999 kwara north has been marginalised , they are the only senatorial district that has not produce Governor which Kwara central and Kwara south has did respectively. kwarans hope to see a northener contesting for the governor but it didn't come to pass when APC and PDP picked their candidates from kwara central. The question now is what will be the gain of the kwara north as central has the governor and kwara south has the Deputy governor and the speaker .
