DIG THE WELL
There are no third world countries, we only have third world minds, gens in the third world are simply poor, they're as poor as Americans were in the mid 19th century. But being poor means; making hard choices, such as, whether to work more or to eat less. Developed countries are not what they're because they have unlimited reasources, but they're what they are, because they have unlimited dreams to be transform into reality of their existence, via hardwork and capacity to think beyond survival. In fact, they're equally what they are, because they don't think of what to consume but what to produce to quench the thirst of humanity. On the other hand, Nigeria is what it is now, not because of shortage of resources but because of shortage and lack of dreams, the proportion of dreaming dreamers dwelling on the land are minorites, Nigeria as a pluralistic society is majorly known for its propensities for 'needs' and not 'dreams'. Samson Adah Paul once said 'a need is what you require but lack, while a dream is what your world lacks but you are garnered with the potentials to offer.
I believe the human essence is productivities and contrary to that in a nation is a nurtured moribund. It's very imperative for us to take cognisance of productivities and shy away thoroughly on what to consume, life as it is, is a product of decision and decision birthed information, in furtherance, productivity needs the participation of soul and body. Nigeria's puzzling circumstances is not as a result of money, so the the availability of money is not a solution. Nigeria is facing difficulties today because they're 'ill mannered' which, reformation must be considered, reformation will therefore possess the right values.
Incontrovertibly, the goal for 'what to consume' is the root of Nigeria's problem, while the goal for public gain(what to produce) is thereof the foundation of developed countries' success. Obviously, their pivotal asset is their voluntary act of contributing, meanwhile, Nigerians' retrogressions is rooted in the the fervent quest for 'personal survival'.
The symbiotic capsule; digging the well is a social contribution that we all need to embrace, it is time we return home to expunging our famine, to be creative and not 'crea-thief', it's now we come back to sense for us to be saved from mess, the need to become our nation's maid for our land to be developmentally made and in finale, to start digging our well of treasures through developing our potentials. We you also today dig the well?
