BUHARI AND 2019 ELECTION By: Taiye Temitope Abdulrasheed (#Rasbom)  Department of Agriculture. University of Ilorin. Harbdulrasheed@gmail.com Since the release of the 2019 presidential election result, we have seen numerous ethnic/tribal comments as to why he should or shouldn't have emerge. With 4 points I will like to inform us why His emergence isn't a surprise to me in anyway. 1. Northern effect: We have seen comments from our social media activists and politicians calling the northerners names for the emergence of President Buhari, but have we take it upon ourselves to consider why this people go back home to support Buhari?. Over the years, one thing I have learnt from the Hausa and Fulani's is the urge to always go back to there various homes to vote. No true northerners will because of his/her business stay back in the southern part of the country when it is election time but see we the southerners, we will always want to stay back in the north during ele

SOMETIMES, LOVE IS A GAME. Written by Aliu Ahmad Gold

SOMETIMES, LOVE IS A GAME. Aliu Ahmad Gold, writes.✍ Amidst huge crowd, she cried for my love, Pleading all days that my YES is truly enough. My mind never wished to dance to her boring tunes, As she put calls to me before sunrise and at the gleaming of the moons. Was this a trap? Or a game with intents to loot my fragile heart? This, became a question I couldn't answer from the start. She knelt before me like a hopeless sheep desirous of food, But in this condition, I never wanted to be harsh or rude. She was intoxicated by a love nurtured by her lust, Unwillingly, I still felt reluctant to cheaply trade my trust. But as her crocodile tears fell on my trembling toes, Leniently, I decided to ease her unprecedented woes. In the first few months, she was lovable even behind the curtain, Humbly, she honored my calls even before pressing the button. On my table, were delicious delicacies in her magical pots, Just for me to be convinced enough and overlooked her but

It's politics and the choice of kwarans , Stop Hiding Behind A Finger.

It's politics and the choice of kwarans , Stop Hiding Behind A Finger. By- Mohammed Adam Jimba The recent ranting all over the media by the so called sarakites deserve urgent attention and clarifications. Firstly, I still don't know why your political interest should affect your normal rational thinking as a man .  It's obvious  we cannot be subjected to a man for the rest of our life. In your mind, as a Sarakite What are your wishes for  the newly elected APC candidates?   bad ideology?  Poor governance ?  Failure?  Etc.  It can be understood vividly, that none of you actually have the love of kwarans at heart except your personal interest and that of Saraki.  Why did you people start acting as if we would not make it in kwara state, unless we adopt Saraki's ideology? If you were having any of these thoughts, just get a counsellor or you should revisit your doctor, because l'm sure you had visited him/her before.  The just

Reno omokri react to president Buhari's re-election

1-Dear President @MBuhari, Congratulations on your stolen mandate. You DID NOT win an election. You won a selection, but lost integrity. I congratulate you for your theft. If God spares my life and yours, I will torment you every step of the way 2-Congrats for revealing your true nature. There is now no difference between you and the politicians you look down on with disdain. You are corrupt, like them. You rig, like them (only less intelligently). Unlike them, you pretend to be a saint 3-How are you better than Shagari you overthrew? You rigged worse than him. You are more corrupt than him. Your handling of the economy is worse than his to the extent investors removed ₦85 billion from the economy when your win was imminent 4-To those @OfficialAPCNg leaders now celebrating, exactly what are you celebrating? The next 4 years will see you get poorer. When you beg China for loans, remember that Nigeria’s poverty is self induced. @MBuhari is a magnet for EXTREME POVERTY 5-Finally
